Refund Policy
watchbuilder.co · Last updated 9 July 2026
watchbuilder.co is operated by Tom Sharman in the United Kingdom. The only thing you can buy for real money on watchbuilder.co is a Crown pack — a quantity of the in-app virtual currency, Crowns (⌾). No physical product is ever sold or shipped.
Digital content, delivered immediately
Crowns are digital content delivered to your account instantly on payment. Where the law gives you a “cooling-off” cancellation right for online purchases (for example, 14 days under UK/EU consumer rules), that right normally ends once delivery of digital content begins — and by completing checkout you ask us to deliver your Crowns immediately and acknowledge you lose that automatic cancellation right. Your non-waivable statutory rights are unaffected.
When we will refund
- Something went wrong: you were charged but Crowns were not credited, you were charged twice, or a technical fault on our side. We’ll fix the balance or refund the payment in full.
- Unauthorised payment: if a charge was made without your permission, contact us and we’ll investigate.
- Faulty service: if the purchase was not as described or the Service was materially broken at the time, you’re entitled to a remedy under consumer law.
When we usually won’t
- You changed your mind after your Crowns were delivered and used.
- You spent the Crowns in-game (on saving designs, repairs, or challenge entries) — spent currency can’t be returned.
- Your account was closed for breaching the Terms.
Crowns themselves have no cash value and, outside the cases above, purchases are final.
How to request a refund
Email support@watchbuilder.co from and with your account username, the approximate date and amount, and what went wrong. We aim to respond within a few business days. Approved refunds are returned to your original payment method via Stripe.
Chargebacks: please contact us first — we can usually resolve a mistaken or missing credit faster than your bank can. Crowns credited from a payment that is later charged back may be removed, and the account may be suspended.
