No physical goods. No brand affiliation. We do not manufacture, sell, or ship any physical watch or product. Every design, name, dial pattern and preset in the Service is
original. The Service is
not affiliated with, endorsed by, sponsored by, or connected to any watch manufacturer or brand. Any resemblance to a real-world timepiece is stylistic homage only. The monetary figures shown against a design (e.g. “$12,000”) are
fictional in-game valuations for play and comparison — they are not offers to sell and nothing on the Service can be purchased as a physical item.
2. Eligibility & accounts
- You must be at least 16 years old (or the age of digital consent in your country) to use the Service.
- Accounts are secured by a username and password, with an email address used to verify and secure your account. You are responsible for remembering your password and keeping it secret. Automated password reset is not built yet — if you lose access, contact support to recover it. See the Privacy Policy for how your email is used.
- You are responsible for all activity under your account. Do not share credentials or impersonate others.
3. Crowns (virtual currency) & purchases
- Crowns have no monetary value. They are a limited, revocable licence to use a feature of the Service. They are not money, not a stored-value instrument, and cannot be exchanged, redeemed, sold, or transferred for real currency or anything of real-world value.
- You can earn Crowns through play, or buy “Crown packs” for real money. Payments are processed by Stripe; we do not receive or store your card details.
- Purchased Crowns are delivered immediately as digital content. See our Refund Policy for your cancellation rights and how to request a refund.
- We may adjust Crown prices, earn rates, and feature costs, and may expire or revoke Crowns obtained through error, fraud, or chargeback.
4. Your designs & community content
- You keep ownership of the original designs you create. By publishing a design or comment to the community gallery you grant us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to host, display, and reproduce it for the purpose of operating and promoting the Service.
- You must not upload or publish anything unlawful, hateful, harassing, sexual involving minors, infringing, or that includes real brand names, logos, or trademarks. Keep design names and shared text original.
- We may remove content, and suspend or terminate accounts, that breach these Terms — with or without notice.
5. Acceptable use
Do not attempt to break, overload, scrape at scale, reverse-engineer the economy to farm currency, exploit bugs for gain, or circumvent rate limits and security controls. We run automated and manual anti-abuse measures.
6. Disclaimers & liability
The Service is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee it will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that saved designs and balances will never be lost. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, or for loss of virtual currency, designs, or data. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law (including for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or fraud). Where a mandatory consumer-protection law applies, your statutory rights are unaffected.
7. Termination
You may stop using the Service and delete your account at any time from within the app (Account → Delete account). We may suspend or close accounts that breach these Terms. On deletion, your account, saved designs, and any remaining Crown balance are permanently removed and are not refundable except where required by law.
8. Changes
We may update these Terms. Material changes will be indicated by updating the date above; continued use after changes means you accept them.
9. Governing law & contact
watchbuilder.co is operated by Tom Sharman in the United Kingdom. These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have exclusive jurisdiction, save that if you are a consumer resident elsewhere in the UK you retain the protection of the mandatory laws of your home nation.
